I love books about redemption and that is exactly what we get with Coincidence Is God’s Way of Remaining Anonymous: Reflections on Daytime Dramas and Divine Intervention by Gloria Loring, a woman that went through a great deal to make it to the point in life where she now sits. This book captures the despair and triumph, making it a feel good story that most can relate to.
Loring pulls no punches as she speaks candidly about her father’s alcohol abuse, living in a hotel, and even working as an exotic dancer to make ends meet. As some may judge those that work that profession, this book may open up some eyes. She did what she had to do to survive.
Divine intervention is the factor that Loring points to that has helped guide her in life, helping her son with his health problems, and leading her through the traumatic events that appeared in her life from time to time. For those that believe in “another side”, this book will be inspiring and reinforce your beliefs.
Coincidence Is God’s Way of Remaining Anonymous: Reflections on Daytime Dramas and Divine Intervention is a quick read that I found very interesting. I recommend it.
