Actor and comedian Taylor Negron, veteran of many movies and televisions shows, but best known for his supporting role in 1982’s Fast Times at Ridgemont High, has passed away after a prolonged battle with cancer. He was 57.

His cousin, former Three Dog Night member Chuck Negron, announced his death on an emotional YouTube video.

Negron played the pizza delivery boy in Fast Times at Ridgemont High alongside Sean Penn. He also starred with Rodney Dangerfield in the movie Easy Money in 1983.

He also had roles in many TV series, including Seinfeld, The Hughleys, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Negron said that he enjoyed his relative obscurity as an actor, what he called ‘fame-ish’. He once stated in an essay “I look at my alternative everyman predicament this way. By letting go of what you thought was going to happen in your life, you can enjoy what is actually happening. That is what I do. I’m That Guy.”
