Investigation Discovery (ID) announced today the premiere of BAD BLOOD, a dramatic new series that follows families driven apart by heinous crimes as they come together for the first time. Fueled by lies, anger and grief, BAD BLOOD brings viewers front row as estranged families confront one another about a crime that rocked the family, uncover new information about the case, and ultimately seek forgiveness for their actions. The eight-part series premieres with back-to-back episodes Wednesday, December 2 at 10/9c and 10:30/9:30c.
Each 30-minute episode of BAD BLOOD features one family torn apart by a murder interlaced with commentary from local authorities and experts, culminating in a face-to-face confrontation between two estranged family members.
In the premiere episode of BAD BLOOD, the small town of Wolsey, South Dakota is shocked when Pastor William B. Guthrie is charged with the murder of his wife, Sharon. One of his daughters believes it was a suicide, while the other daughter believes it was cold-blooded murder. After 15 years of silence, the sisters reconnect and finally face the truth.
