Nowhere does the mystery of Bigfoot’s existence run deeper than in the backcountry of Appalachia where, over the last 10 years alone, the Appalachian Investigators of Mysterious Sightings (AIMS) have uncovered more than a dozen different clans of bigfoot that call the mountain region home. Locals have their own names for these enormous ape-like creatures, but they’re all bigfoot in the end. AIMS travel to remote corners of the Appalachian wilderness to track and attempt to trap these mysterious creatures, proving they’re fact not folklore.

In all-new episodes, Mountain Monsters picks up where it left off in AIMS’ search for bigfoot but this time with a whole new set of surprises…
1. Freddie Prinze, Jr. is Watching
“If the AIMS team would bring a Jedi on just one of these hunts we would catch us a damn Bigfoot!!! #MountainMonsters” [via Twitter] …though Chewie probably knows more about bigfoot than he’s letting on.
2. Mysterious Stalkers
Last season it was revealed that a mysterious rival group was trailing AIMS on the bigfoot chase. The premiere episode on January 23 will finally shed light on this group’s shady activities when they come closer than ever before to threatening AIMS’ mission.
3. New Evidence
After a cliffhanger ending last season, Trapper finally reveals the evidence he dug up in a supposed bigfoot burial ground. The revelation sends AIMS back to Kentucky in the January 30th episode to pursue a new lead.
4. One Man Down
By far the biggest shock to AIMS’ system will involve the health of one of their own. By January 30, the team may have changed forever but it won’t stop them from pursuing their goal of finding bigfoot.
