Sad news to report…. Simply put, a musical LEGEND has died..  Prince Rogers Nelson known to the world as Prince has left us far too soon at the age of 57.

“It is with profound sadness that I am confirming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning,” publicist Yvette Noel-Schure said.

Earlier Thursday, police said they were investigating a death at the Paisley Park studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota. They responded to a medical call and found the singer unresponsive in an elevator, Carver County Sheriff Jim Olson said.

For me, Prince was like for so many around the world the soundtrack of my youth and though death is something that is natural and no time is promised on Planet Earth, it still hits home when that singer or actor was such a big part of your life.  RIP “Purple One”… Gone, but truly will never be forgotten
