Online NBA sportsbook odds have never looked better for the Cavaliers. Dreams indeed do come true, and they came true in spectacular fashion for the Cavaliers who netted their first ever NBA title in the history of the franchise.
Considering the momentous nature of their victory, some much-needed celebration was expected, which is why no one really batted an eye when the Cavaliers made a stop on their way to Cleveland, back from Oakland, California.
The Cavaliers’ victory, while rumored and speculated upon by some, was largely unexpected by the majority of sports fans. For that reason, a trip to Las Vegas was all but expected following their 93-89 championship victory over the Golden State Warriors in Game 7.
The Cavaliers arrived in Las Vegas early on Monday, hitting the ground running with a trip to XS Nightclub at the Encore Casino sometime after 2 a.m.
Of course, this wasn’t merely a victory for the Cavaliers. It was a victory for their fans and anyone else with a notable love for the game of basketball, which is why LeBron, Kyrie Irving, and crew received a spectacular welcome when they rolled into XS Nightclub at the Wynn. They might have as well won the Larry O’Brien Trophy (which they had) for all the love they were showered with, and they deserved every minute of their treatment.
LeBron and crew had the whole VIP section to themselves, which had been set up for their enjoyment, their experience at XS complimented by a championship cake shaped like the O’Brien trophy.
The fact that the nightclub waitresses were wearing LeBron jerseys only added to the fan fair of their experience, making way for a party the XS nightclub will not forget anytime soon.
Much as they deserve to celebrate to their heart’s content, the Cavaliers stay in Las Vegas was only temporary. The team had prior engagements, continuing their journey onward to Ohio.
The fanfare is hardly over, though. If all goes according to plan, then the Cavaliers will be landing in Ohio at 12:30 P.M ET. There, they will have the pleasure of contending with the massive tidal wave of fans waiting to share in their glory.
This celebratory meeting between team and fans will take place at Atlantic Aviation in Cleveland, the Cavaliers stepping off the plane with the O’Brien trophy.
Fans can also look forward to the parade that the city of Cleveland will be hosting in partnership with the Cavaliers, this along with a rally. Considering how long they have been anticipating this particular parade, the city of Cleveland will savor every moment of the victory the Cavaliers have delivered to them.
LeBrown hasn’t shied away from praising the fans for their support, not only during the team’s times of victory but through the failures of the past, the sports star clearly gleeful at the opportunity to share his team’s victory with the many men, women and children that will flood the parade to share in the glory of the Cavaliers.
A long time ago, to further spur them forward to victory, the Cavaliers created a secret trophy, a replica of the Larry O’Brien trophy that they broke into 16 pieces. And with each playoff victory they garnered, a piece of this secret trophy was forced back into place by a player.
Coach Tyronn Lue had the honor of placing the final piece back into place on Sunday Night.
