“Bad” Brad Berkwitt took the Vamoose Bus and headed north yesterday to the Big Apple and Actors Connection Studio where he attended, a Master Monologue Class with famed Casting Director, Paul Fouquet.
Berkwitt did the iconic scene between Marlon Brando (Terry Malloy) who he portrayed and Rod Steiger (Charlie) as his monologue from the Oscar Winning movie, ON THE WATERFRONT.
Once he was done, Casting Director Fouquet, was speechless and physically paused for several seconds, before giving Berkwitt major praise for the realism, acting and passion he displayed while doing his monologue.
Berkwitt said, “Having Michael J. Baker, JR. as my first acting teacher and him setting up this opportunity for me to take a Master Class and do my monologue for Paul, was an event, I will never forget.”
Stay tuned for more news on Berkwitt’s acting career as he delves further into television, movies and stage.
