What up fam! This week I want to bring some spotlight to one of the most important accessories for gaming, Gunnar Optiks eyewear. With digital eye strain becoming a serious issue I think it is time bring up one of my favorite products I’ve ever bought! These have helped me game longer and game harder when I’m wearing them compared to not. If you want to know like the exact percentages on the lens technology you can visit their website at www.gunnars.com. Today I’m going to talk about 3 things that make it important to a consumer aside from the health benefits. Comfort, look, and is it worth it?
The first thing you will notice is the look. I have the COD MW3 edition Gunnars which I’m into. Not a fan of COD? Well there are a plethora of different frames and color combinations to choose from, from the limited editions to the standards they have on the website.
After you inspect it, it’s time to put these bad boys on. They have different sizes from people like me with a big head. The MW3 editions that I have are actually a bit too small for me but the hinges allow the temples to extend passed flush and the temple tips are adjustable. Even with the temples being a little over flush they are still extremely comfortable and I forget I’m wearing them a lot of the times and have a habit of walking out of the house with them on.
Now after you have taken a good look at them and have worn them for a couple of hours, does the buyers remorse set in? In my case, not even close! I’ve honestly thought about buying another set and Gunnar also has sunglasses as well. The ability to game longer without having the headache, dry eye, and eye fatigue that comes along with gaming for a long period of time is priceless. Not only can you game longer but these can save your eyes in the long run by protecting them from the harmful blue light that digital screens have.
I highly suggest buying a pair of these if you are a gamer that plays more than 2 hours at a time or somebody that works in front of a computer. I’m wearing mine right now and it makes this so much easier to work.
They start out at $80 and go up from there. But can you put a price on saving your eyes? I hope this has helped you in your decision in buying a pair if you have been on the fence about it or maybe this convinced you to look into the product. Gunnar has really made a quality and revolutionary product for the digital age.
