Some sad news to report out of Utah this evening. Ricci Martin, son of the late singer Dean Martin, and a notable performer in his own right, was found dead in his home this past Wednesday. Although no cause of death has been released, it can be assumed his death is related to a permanent pulmonary injury sustained in a fall this past winter, as announced by Ricci himself in a British tour cancellation notice on his Facebook page.
In recent years, Ricci has undertaken a musical tribute act to his father that has received fair notices by attending audiences, and was also the author of a 2002 memoir “That’s Amore,” named after one of his father’s hit songs, recounting his days being raised in Hollywood. Survived by three daughters, his mother, older brother and four sisters, Ricci Martin was 62.
NewzBreaker extends our condolences to the Martin family in their time of grief.
