Kim McGuire, star of John Waters’ iconic film “Cry Baby” has died. She played Mona “Hatchet-Face” Malnorowski alongside Johnny Depp and Ricki Lake in the classic 1990 movie.
Fans learned from her husband Gene that Kim fell ill earlier this past week and was taken to a Florida hospital Tuesday. Gene says docs discovered Kim had a bad case of pneumonia and put her in the ICU. However, Kim didn’t take well to treatment and she went into cardiac arrest twice, passing away at the age of 60 on Wednesday September 14.
