Of Mice & Men singer Austin Carlile recently spent about four weeks in the hospital not long after his band’s triumphant summer tour with Slipknot. Carlile was admitted to the hospital during the band’s European tour in October, with the remaining dates being cancelled as a result. This would not be the only tour they were forced to cancel, Carlile is still unable to perform leading the band to drop off of A Day To Remember’s upcoming tour earlier this week.

After Of Mice & Men announced that they would be dropping off of the ADTR Australian tour this week, Carlile took to Twitter to share a heartbreaking message to his fans that were telling him to “get well soon”. Carlile tweeted; “FYI you don’t “get better” w/ Marfans. You GET BY. I’ve had foot, ear, rib, head, hip, back, & heart surgeries just so I can function/live.”
