Living the majority of my life in the DMV area you would think I have developed some love for the Washington Redskins, well I haven’t. I can’t stand the team and during the season I can’t stand the fans either. I feel like I have multiple reasons not to like the team and its fans.

How does the Skins keep getting great players but those players greatness never transfer over to the team? It’s like as soon as someone puts on a Redskins jersey they lose all their superpowers. Is the team cursed? Are the jersey’s made with kryptonite? What about those players that have better success as soon as they leave the team? What is it? How come I feel like no one else sees this but me? Every time the Skins get a new quarterback the whole city has to adopt the dude and hail him as the messiah. They got the guy on every cereal and pizza box, running to the store and buying every damn jersey! As soon as the season starts the guy has two great games and then it gets embarrassing.

Fans have to let these players earn the love, and not give up the goodies too early. Skins fans are like scorned lovers. They love this team so hard and as soon as the team screws up they become bitter as hell. I feel like a winning team takes time. Ya’ll aren’t winning the Super Bowl with the new quarterback in the first year and not even the second year. By the time the next year rolls around, the franchise is trying to replace the guy they just gave their heart and soul to for no reason. This is a cycle I’ve seen over and over again.

Redskins fans are annoying. I feel like they either have too much blind faith that they are unreasonable or they are extremely melancholy about the team. Are there any normal Redskins fans? Why would you cry over a team? Do they owe you money or something? How are you going to live for someone that doesn’t even know you? I hope these people cheer for their children’s sports team as much as they do the Redskins. I’d rather buy a shirt with my own name on it and cheer for myself before I cheer for the Redskins.

Do you know who scores the most during the Redskin’s game? It’s the damn kicker! Why would you want to watch the game when the guy with the “Freshest” uniform score all the points? Sounds pretty lame to me. I want to know why the Skins always choke in the last quarter and give the game away? It’s like all the batteries die on the team in the 3rd quarter. I guess when I think about it, no wonder the Redskin fans are so frustrated. Redskins fans are like a sexual frustrated wife with a husband that can’t keep it up.

Why don’t you find a new team to cheer for or another sport? We have the Caps, Wiz and the Nats, all of these teams are building a successful foundation, and Redskins should take notes from them.

Anyway sorry not sorry for mortally wounding a few Fans. Y’all have a great football season!
