Meal plans, lots of protein powder, increase on carbs…equals…big muscles?
Ask yourself: What is it I’m actually working out for: just to look healthy, or truly be healthy? Let’s hope it’s the latter.
Did you know that you don’t need any of those things I mentioned above in order to attain amazing results from your workouts?
We have been taught and brainwashed with the mindset that meat, starches, sugar, is all needed for effective workouts and effective muscle building.
This is false.
It’s been proven time and time again. Eliminating those very things from your diet actually increases your stamina, energy, mood, and overall health. Furthermore, outside of what we’ve been taught or brainwashed to believe, meat actually has less protein than vegetables (specifically green vegetables). Vegetables contain live protein, meat…dead protein. You don’t want to just look healthy, but be healthy, from the inside out.
Remember, the strongest animal in the kingdom is the gorilla. What do gorillas eat? Mostly vegetables and a bit fruit. Think about it.
