Donald J. Trump was born on June 14, 1946. He’s a lot of things including, a business man, author, television personality, and Lord help us Republican nominee for President of the United States. His Wiki says he was born and raised in the borough of Queens in New York. Strange he grew up in such a wonderful diverse state and became the racist sociopath he’s become. He worked for his father’s real estate firm once he graduated from Wharton a prestigious Ivy league school in Pennsylvania in 1968. He then took over the family business in 1971 and the making of a real estate mogul began.
Reading about his early life and business ventures which I never cared to do leaves no doubt that he is clever and knows how to do business to his advantage. His advantage being the key word folks. It also appears that he was raised in a hardworking household and that his father paved a very successful path for his future.
I was never interested in his TV show The Apprentice, but I did tune in a few times and it was more than obvious that the Donald is a narcissist and has absolutely no charm or filters when opening that now infamous mouth of his. The world would be a better place if Trump would put a lid on that hole in his face.
It’s incredible to imagine him as the leader of this great country of ours. Unfortunately, that’s what we are faced with as of June 2015 when he announced his candidacy for President of the United States. At first I didn’t think he stood a chance in hell at actually becoming the Republican nominee, but low and behold he went on to beat much more experienced candidates such as Jeb Bush who by all means is intelligent and far more likable than George W., but honestly another Bush…glad that didn’t happen. Then there were the other 16 hopefuls for the chance at becoming the leader of the free world. The process soon became a circus in my eyes and Trump made the final cut as the “Head Clown”.
Now with just 18 days left before our fate is known I’m feeling a bit of anxiety. Surely many Americans are, after all we are in war times, our economy is shaky to say the least, and middle class barely exist anymore. It’s like you’re either rich or boarder line poor. I am definitely the latter.
I do feel Hillary Clinton is more poised and experienced for the most important job in the world, but my feelings for her in the beginning of her run were lackluster. I have since conceded to the notion that she will do a far better job than Trump could ever do. If you watched the last debate, then you’re aware that Trump may not concede if she wins the race. Perhaps he’s just keeping us in suspense as he said. As if we are contestants on a freaking reality show! Someone please tell that babbling buffoon that this is not a last ditch attempt at ratings before the show goes on hiatus for a season. This is four years of millions of American lives basically put in hands of one of these candidates. It literally scares the crap out of me.
Big names from RNC have now abandoned his campaign and cut ties with him. It’s about time considering racism toward Hispanics, Blacks, and Muslims didn’t sway them. The debauchery of his misogyny was their final straw. Thank goodness they care about their mothers, sisters and daughters enough to get a clue. I would have jumped ship when he started taking about building a wall and calling Hispanics rapists and criminals while stating with anger and hate that he plans on deporting millions of people all the while breaking up families and leaving children that were born here orphans. He has presented himself like a modern day Hitler.
In closing, this is definitely my personal thoughts and my opinions. I just got hit with a reality bat in the head last night while watching our candidates sparring. My head still hurts and it’s been hours since the final curtain closed on the most embarrassing show on earth…the 2016 last presidential debate.
All I can say is Hillary for President 2016. The bright side is I get to see another historical event in politics a woman president! That makes me proud and happy. Though I wish we could keep Obama until he dies. Really…
