In 1978 a horror movie was released called “The Comeback.” It was a slasher film that terrified the audiences before Jason Voorhees picked up his machete and before Freddy Krueger invaded the dreams of teenagers. This is a classic film that did not get the proper attention that it deserved and still many “die hard” horror fans have never heard of it.
The star of this movie was an actor named Jack Jones, but this horror film was just the tip of the iceberg in a career full of television, music, and stage success. He had some big shoes to fill as he followed in the footsteps of his famous father, Allan Jones, and was able to gain his own identity and following.

He now focuses on two things that are very important to him: his book release of “Dark Legacy,” which is an amazing read, and his independent movie career, all started with a movie called “The List.”

In 1974, the boxing career of Jack O’Halloran, and the movie career began. In 1975, he played a lead role in the movie “Farewell My Lovely” alongside the established actor, Robert Mitchum. O’Halloran had re-invented himself and found a new and promising career as an actor. His next memorable film was the 1976 blockbuster, “King Kong,” and two years later, he would land the role that most people associate him with. The comic book superhero “Superman” hit the big screen, and the world was introduced to three super villains. “Non” was the strong and silent of the three, never uttering a word, but still is considered by most Superman fans as one of the best villains in the franchise.

February 9th, 2014 CEO On February 9th, Japan’s biggest International Children’s Film Festival, “Tokyo Kinder Film Festival” held a screening event with LIVE German voice-over for “Animation” which Japan is proud of as a culture. The festival was held during the term of “Berlin International Film Festival” at a multi-purpose hall of Japanese Embassy in Germany. The newest Japanese animations and the masterpiece “3000 Leagues in Search of Mother”which is the collaboration of two Japanese famous producers who are leading the animation world in Japan, Takahata and Miyazaki will be screened. Films are LIVE dubbed in German by German voice actors during the screening. There is also a workshop related to animation held. This event is not only for watching, but also to participate and experience Japanese culture.

In 1986 an album hit the record stores titled “Shake You Down” and the self titled track hit the musical airwaves as the first single. The singer with the silky smooth ala Marvin Gaye type of voice was Gregory Abbott coming out of your Hi Fi speakers. Armed with amazing vocal chops and matinee idol looks, you had the feeling success was going to come his way. Well, it did when Shake You Down, the single, hit the number one spot in 1987 on the Billboard charts and the album remained on the charts for some 27 weeks.
I can remember being stationed at Naval Air Station Pensacola in Pensacola, Florida, in 1987, and Shake You Down was played in all the nightclubs. In fact, many a lady hit the floor with their dates and danced to Gregory in the background. I can remember sharing the floor with a lady or two and enjoying the music as well.

Growing up with a Father who was 40 years my senior was very unique because it enabled me to be exposed to things that I would truly appreciate later in life. One of them was the Old Hollywood that he grew up on and actually worked in. I can remember as a young child watching a show that Dad turned me on to called “Rowan and Martin’s Laugh In.”
On that show, there was a gentleman named “Gary Owens.” He had a gift…a voice that enunciated his words on a level that the legendary Director and Actor Orson Welles did. Both were commanding voices that made you listen. The voices were so distinctive that I always felt that you could close your eyes and know right away who they belonged to were in fact, his and Welles. Owens, who is well known for holding his right hand up to his right ear while speaking into a gimbaled boom microphone, adding to the appeal of Laugh-In that for that time, late 60’s – early 70’s was way ahead of its time.

Joseph R. Gannascoli is a Brooklyn, New York, born and raised actor who has plied his trade for many years in some well known movies, but hit pay dirt, as Mafia Capo Vito Spatafore, a tough guy character that is found out to be gay in the HBO Hit Original Series, The Sopranos. Before he became a truly famous face, he had parts in movies such as Ed Wood with Johnny Depp, Mickey Blue Eyes with Hugh Grant, and maybe one of the most famous actors to play a mafia figure in James Caan, (Sonny Corleone in The Godfather).
When you look at Gannascoli’s resume, you see a guy who has worked his way up in each movie role with small parts leading of course, into bigger ones. Acting, in a sense, is no different than boxing. Both the boxer and actor must start out small working their way up the ranks. The Actor starts with smaller roles, the fighter in smaller venues, working his way through lesser competition. So in that sense, an actor such as Joe, who if he wins the Oscar one day, is like the boxer winning his first legitimate World Title. Exciting for both, no doubt, and for sure a milestone that can passed on to generations in their families.

TLC Orders 35 More Episodes of Sex Sent Me To The ER – Breaking TV News

Over the course of its first four episodes, SEX SENT ME TO THE ER averaged 1.9M P2+ viewers and was the #1 premiere among all ad-supported cable on Saturday night in all key women demos (W25-54/18-49/18-34). Viewers will have no shortage of sexual mishaps to capture their attention as the breakout series has now been picked up for an additional 35 one-hour episodes. The series documents the real-life and often hilarious stories of what happens when passion turns to panic and leads to the ER. Exposing even more unbelievable sexual misadventures, SEX SENT ME TO THE ER will start filming this month and is slated to return on TLC in 2Q and run through the end of the year.
