The late Jimi Hendrix has been named the greatest guitarist ever in a poll conducted by Rolling Stone Magazine. Hendrix, was in good company with Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page, The Rolling Stones Keith Richards and Jeff Beck to name just a few.
Sadly, Jimi’s flame burned out far too soon when he was found dead on September 18, 1970 at the age of 27. His death was caused by him choking on his own vomit.

Actor Robert Wagner Arrested – Hauled Off in HANDCUFFS
Veteran actor Robert Wagner who has consumed the news headlines for over a week with the reopening of the murder investigation in the case of his Ex-wife Natalie Wood’s drowning in 1981, returns to the small screen tonight on a episode of NCIS. According to MSNBC, Wagner will play Anthony DiNozzo, SR., who will be a murder suspect on the new episode, SINS OF THE FATHER.
Robin Gibb: MAJOR HEALTH CRISIS UPDATE
Robin Gibb 1/3 of the iconic band the Bee Gees said in recent reports, he is feeling better since his recent hospitalization for abdominal pain and inflammation of the colon.
“I have been very unwell and am now on the road to recovery,” Robin said on post to his fans on his website.
Gibb, whose career has spanned over 40 years, went on to thank his fans for the prayers and good wishes, which he said were like a “great tonic to me.”

“I’ve only known her a little while and she’s already hijacked my life,” Russell Brand noted about Friendly House Executive Director Peggy Albrecht (Pictured with Brandt on stage). The actor/comedian has gotten the women’s recovery program (this was their 60th birthday) press on Rosie O’Donnell’s new show on OWN to many others.
Brand received the Man of the Year Award at their recent awards luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hilton hotel, for his work with recovering addicts and alcoholics and support of Friendly House. Pictured below is Russell with Avarie Shevin, who went through Friendly House herself 12 years ago, who manages singer Malik Pointer (son of Ruth Pointer) also pictured with Brand who performed “That’s What Friends Are For” at the luncheon.
Bonnie Pointer ARRESTED for DRUGS: MAJOR UPDATE
This past Friday, Bonnie Pointer formerly of The Pointer Sisters and later, a solo career in the music industry was in a vehicle that was pulled over by police because of faulty equipment.
E! News reported that Los Angeles County Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore told them that the 61-year-old Pointer was a passenger in a car with two other people when the vehicle was stopped shortly after midnight for a bad brake light.
Officers peeked inside the car and turned up what they believed to be “rock cocaine,” added Whitmore. Pointer was released on a $10,000 dollar bond.

Breaking NEWS: Showtime’s DEXTER Renewed for Seventh SEASON
It’s no secret that Showtime’s DEXTER starring Michael C. Hall, is my favorite show on TV today. Well, Showtime has delighted millions of fans of the show by renewing it for Season 7 by inking a deal that has Hall very happy from all reports.
Shooting will start soon for the seventh season in LA.
Season-to-date, “Dexter” is averaging 5.1 million viewers, a figure that takes into account On Demand, repeats and DVR viewership. So far, it’s the shows best season yet….

Natalie Wood Death CASE REOPENED: BREAKING DETAILS
Actress Natalie Wood who died over 30 years ago by drowning in the Pacific Ocean under suspicious circumstances has had her death case reopened by the Los Angeles police who believe they have enough information to reopen the investigation into her death, reports CBS-2 TV in Los Angeles.
Information about the case will be put out a press conference later today in Los Angeles. The Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives said they decided to look into the case again because they were recently contacted by “persons who stated they had additional information about the Natalie Wood Wagner drowning.”

The Oscar Show has been top story for days since they fired Brett Ratner for a comment about gays that also led Eddie Murphy to drop out of hosting the 2012 Oscars and Billy Crystal stepping in.
However, this past Saturday at its third annual Governors Awards the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences awarded both Oprah Winfrey and James Earl Jones honorary Oscars.
