Dustin Diamond, who played Screech in the ’90s television show Saved by the Bell, is back in a Wisconsin jail on a probation hold, less than two months after serving three months for a Christmas 2014 bar stabbing. The Ozaukee County (Wis.) Sheriff’s Office, in a news release Thursday morning, provided little additional information other than that he was booked into the jail at 2:57 p.m. Wednesday.

Let me just begin by saying 50 years! What a way to make a gal feel old…
Anyway, on July 7th, 10 special stamps will be issued by the UK’s Royal Mail, to honor Pink Floyd. Six of the stamps celebrate a selection of album covers: The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, Atom Heart Mother, The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Endless River. The other four stamps focus on the Floyd’s live appearances, from UFO in 1966, through to The Division Bell tour.

You won’t find it on any official map and you won’t know when you cross the line, but according to some people, the Bermuda Triangle is a very real place where dozen of ships, planes and people have disappeared with no good explanation. Since a magazine first coined the phrase “Bermuda Triangle” in 1964, the mystery has continued to attract attention. When you dig deeper into most cases, though, they’re much less mysterious. Either they were never in the area to begin with, they were actually found, or there’s a reasonable explanation for their disappearance.

Cartoonist Mell Lazarus who created two popular comic strips with one being MOMMA, has died at the age of 89 this past Tuesday, in his home located in Los Angeles California. “The cause was complications of Alzheimer’s Disease”, said his wife, Sally Mitchell.

When we think of famous singers of standards that emerged and endured from the 1950s onward, two names automatically spring to the average lover of music: Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett. While these two legendary singers are undoubtedly at the top of their field, there was a bevy of other pop standard singers that followed them throughout this decade, a high-class group of accomplished vocalists that included (in no order in terms of greatness) Dick Haymes, David Allyn, Al Martino, Johnny Holiday, Jimmy Roselli, Johnny Hartman, and Jackie Paris.
While all of these singers enjoyed immense popularity as headliners and record makers in their own right, it’s debatable as to whether they ever achieved the level of popularity that the two “leaders” would surmount. There was another singer (who always cited Sinatra as his influence) amongst this group whose rich baritone voice had a quality and style all unto its own, his voice and career sustained well into his seventies. His name was Julius LaRosa, and we lost him two weeks ago at the age of eighty-six.

What up fam! Wanted to share some experience I had this last week. I have recently picked up a Wii U from Craigslist to play Super Smash Brothers 4 and Pokken Tournament. Which if you are looking to pick up a Wii U I would suggest finding one on Craigslist, don’t pay retail. I wanted to get somewhat competitive with it. So there are two huge draw backs with the Wii U, there isn’t a stock way to have a wired connection and the controllers are all wireless. Input lag isn’t something I want to deal with so I had to work around both of these issues. There is a way to get around the input lag, an adapter that allows you to wire in up-to 4 original GameCube controllers straight the console. Also a USB to Ethernet adapter is required to get the console off Wi-Fi and to reliable speeds with less latency.

Amber Heard has filed for divorce from Johnny Depp after 15 months of marriage. Heard, 30, filed a divorce petition on Monday citing irreconcilable differences, TMZ reports.The couple married in February last year after first meeting on the set of 2011’s The Rum Diary. The actress is reportedly asking for spousal support from Depp, 52, and sources tell TMZ the couple did not have a prenup. Reps for the couple were not immediately available for comment.

In the 1970’s, we had so many great TV shows and one of them was ALICE. It starred Linda Lavin, who played Alice and took place in Mel’s Diner. You had a great supporting case and one of them was Beth Howland, who played the dizzy, but lovable Vera.
Sadly, Howland has died at the age of 74. She actually passed away December 31st, but her husband George Kimbrough told the New York Times he didn’t announce her death out of respect for her wishes, noting that she didn’t want a funeral or memorial service. He said the cause of death was lung cancer.

Actor Burt Kwouk who played a martial arts expert in the Pink Panther movies has died at 85. Kwouk’s agent, Jean Diamond, said in a statement that he “passed peacefully” on Tuesday. She didn’t give a cause of death.

Eva Longoria is still floating! “On cloud nine”, the actress posted on her Instagram Sunday May 22, just one day after she and longtime love, Jose ‘Pepe’ Baston tied the knot in a star studded ceremony in Valle de Bravo, Mexico. “In our garden, surrounded by a small gathering of people we love, Pepe and I tied the knot!” the 41-year-old actress captioned a picture of the newlyweds’ wedding bands and their name cards. Longoria and Baston, 47, exchanged vows at Baston’s home in the presence of A-list friends including Ricky Martin, Victoria and David Beckham, Melanie Griffith, Vanessa Williams and Mario Lopez.

Though I don’t recall ever having an imaginary friend, I can’t be positive that one never came to play during my childhood. For most kids an imaginary friend is as common as chicken pox. However, what if your child’s new friend isn’t so imaginary? Here are a few of the most terrifying stories of unimaginable friends.
Betsy:
This is the story of a young girl whose parents divorced; her mother left them and her father took to drinking heavily. This young lady spent a lot of time alone when she finally met a new friend named Betsy. She and Betsy would hang out together all the time; Betsy showed her a really cool tree fort she had built in the woods and some old ruined railroad tracks. The girls became so close that Betsy even had Thanksgiving dinner with the family over at an aunt’s house one year.

The former drummer with the US thrash metal band Megadeth, Nick Menza, is reported to have died after collapsing on stage at a gig in California. Menza, who was 51, is said to have suffered a heart attack during one of his regular sessions with his band OHM at a small Los Angeles jazz club, the Baked Potato. The club posted “RIP Nick Menza” on its Facebook page in the early hours of Sunday. Dave Mustaine, co-founder of Megadeth, said on Twitter that he awoke at 4am to the news. “Tell me this isn’t true,” he wrote.

Beloved character actor Alan Young whose most famous role was as the sidekick of the talking horse MR Ed died yesterday at the age of 96. No cause of death was revealed. The CBS show ran for six seasons (1961 to 1965) and Young played Wilbur Post, a very friendly architect.

John Berry, an original member of hip-hop group the Beastie Boys, died Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m. at a hospice in Danvers, Massachusetts. He was 52. John Berry III, Berry’s father, confirmed his death Thursday afternoon to Rolling Stone. He said his son suffered from frontal lobe dementia, which had worsened in recent months. Berry is credited with coming up with the name Beastie Boys when they were teenagers. He attended the Walden School in New York with Mike Diamond. The group formed in July 1981, with Berry and Diamond joined by Adam Yauch and Kate Schellenbach. The first Beastie Boys shows took place at Berry’s old loft at the corner of West 100th Street and Broadway in Manhattan’s Upper West Side, where a small crowd gathered to hear the fledgling hardcore/punk band.

Saturday the 21st of May Fur Babies will be at Animalholics Pet Shop in Wagoner, Oklahoma microchipping pets for the public. The microchip identifies your pet, giving your address and phone number when the chip is scanned. If your pet is lost or stolen, this is a sure way to prove your pet is yours. Yes, they will have to be scanned for the chip to be read, that is easily done. Microchips will not track your pet for you. At the current time that capability is not available in an implanted device.

There wasn’t an 80’s kid alive that didn’t try to repel down from the roof of their house using nothing more than a paper clip and bubble gum thanks to MacGyver. Wait, you mean that was just me? Every week my family and I would gather around the television in anticipation of what amazing gadget MacGyver, played by Richard Dean Anderson would convince us was perfectly possible to create. Though you probably know Lucas Till best as Havok in the X-Men film franchise, he’s showing off an entirely different set of superpowers in the trailer for CBS’ MacGyver.

The Internet was on fire with speculation, rumors, and downright bullshit stories on what happened. An autopsy was conducted almost immediately and this is the most recent news we have here at NewzBreaker.

Sad news to report… Morley Safer, who came into our homes via 60 Minutes for five decades died today, at the age of 84, at his home in Manhattan. CBS didn’t provide a cause of death but said he had been in declining health, which led to his retirement last week.
