Axl Rose to Front AC/DC? All the Evidence Points To Yes!
By Kristi O’Toole
Dead. I have died. Or at least I can die happy if this is the case.
While neither Axl nor AC/DC have confirmed working together, there’s a number of sources boldly declaring Rose the frontman. Earlier this year it was announced by AC/DC that they would be postponing their US tour as singer Brian Johnson was reportedly at ‘risk of going completely deaf’. (The first sign you’re rocking it right). Almost immediately the reports started flying that the band would continue with a new frontman, but no one was named.

The Los Angeles Lakers have the second worst record in the NBA this season and have been underdogs all season when it comes to online NBA sports betting odds. Things have been so bad for the Lakers this year that the Kobe Bryant retirement tour has been the only positive thing the club has going for it.
Just when you thought things couldn’t get worse for the Lakers, reports surfaced about rookie point guard D’Angelo Russell secretly recording teammate Nick Young when he was talking about cheating on his fiancé, Iggy Azalea, with a 19 year old woman.

Frank Sinatra: And The Compilations Play On!
Walking into the average department store in the present day, you may find that two distinct themes exist in the gradually shrinking music section of a majority of retailers. Under each alphabetized artist card, you’ll find a few of their past classic albums for sale, along with about a dozen copies of an album featuring a compilation of their greatest hits. For an artist as timeless as Frank Sinatra, he proves to be no exception to this theme. It was through a compilation disc like such that I began a musical journey from casual Sinatra listener to die-hard fandom.
When I was in my early teens, my grandfather retired from commercial truck driving. For a fellow who spent the better part of thirty years driving the highways of America to support his family, retirement meant boredom. To alleviate all the free time that had opened up in his schedule, he started taking under the table jobs delivering supplies across the tristate area with his own truck. I would join him on these trips, and together we’d hit the road with, strangely enough, the same compact disc always playing on repeat in his Chevy Silverado. I was thirteen years old.

Why Are People Disappearing From Our National Parks?
Every year, thousands of people go missing. Many of these cases are solved, or at least the cause can be reasonably ascertained. Strangers kidnap kids for ransom or worse, estranged parents kidnap their own children from former spouses, and crimes of passion lead to disappearances very dark in nature.
Then there are cases that are truly inexplicable. In my last missing persons column I gave mention to David Paulides book Missing 411, this book and the three printed since re an absolute must read; however I do not recommend reading them if you’re alone. The cases I’m covering in this column differ in strange ways from other missing person cases. They are happening in remote areas of National Parks, monuments and forests, and federal agencies are not keeping track or sharing information.

The Little People: Leprechauns, Fairies and Gnomes Oh My!
I’m not sure how many folks actually believe in leprechauns, but from the time I was a tiny girl and watched the movie, ‘Darby O’Gill and The Little People’ starring Sean Connery (*swoon*), I totally wanted to believe. From what the movie portrayed and from other articles I’ve read, these so called “little people” are incredibly powerful. Thus, I have mad respect for those things that can’t always be proven, yet know are entirely plausible. I mean, why not?

Gay Rights Group Calls For Hollywood To Boycott Georgia
One of the leading gay rights groups in the country is calling on Hollywood studios and executives to boycott the state of Georgia if the state passes the religious freedom bill that passed through the state legislature this week. If the law passes, the state’s NFL sports betting odds of hosting the Super Bowl in 2018 will be very slim.
The bill need to be signed by the state’s governor before it can become a law, and the Governor’s office has received a lot of calls asking him not to sign the bill into law. If signed into law, the bill will give religious organizations the right to deny employment to LGBT people and the right to refuse the use of their facilities based on their religious beliefs.
